You want to talk about a Hall of Fame résumé? Julia Louis-Dreyfus put together one of the great runs in television comedy, and I don't say that lightly, coming from a guy who's watched a lot of game film. First there's Seinfeld, where she held her own next to three strong comedic players and somehow still stood out, and then years later she comes back and does it again on Veep, racking up Emmys like a point guard racking up assists. That's not luck. That's a career built on reps, on showing up decade after decade and still being the best player on the floor. I tell my kids all the time: it's not the athlete who has one great season, it's the one who does it twice, in two totally different eras, against different competition. Louis-Dreyfus did that. Two different shows, two different characters, both of them legendary. That's a Hall of Fame comeback story even if nobody ever got hurt to make it happen — just years of being that good, twice.
